Adam Hart-Davis launches Innovation Nation competition!

To celebrate 100 years of home innovation, The Ideal Home Show has joined forces with TV scientist and invention enthusiast Adam Hart-Davis, to launch ‘Innovation Nation,’ a nationwide search for the ‘Home Invention of the Year’.
A brand new competition, Innovation Nation challenges people of all ages and abilities to come up with ingenious solutions to everyday household frustrations or bug-bears. From solving the problem of the out-of-reach remote control, to designing the self-cleaning kitchen, anyone can submit their original inventions and ideas and the more off-the-wall the better.
Adam Hart-Davis has been busy promoting the Innovation Nation competition with a series of regional Radio Interviews, culminating in national coverage on Radio 4’s ‘The Today Programme’ and BBC Five Live. Today he will be on the sofa of ‘The One Show’ at 7pm on BBC1 (Thursday 10th January), encouraging would-be inventors to get involved.
