dmg world media announces new plans for 2009 event

dmg world media has announced that next year two shows are to be held alongside the Ideal Home Show, the world’s largest home interest event which takes place March 20th – April 13th 2009.
The Vitality Show has relocated from Olympia and will now take place in Earls Court 2 on the second weekend of the Ideal Home Show, 26th to 29th March 2009. A Place in the Sun Live will also take place in Earls Court 2 on the third weekend of the Ideal Home Show 3rd to 5th April 2009.
Now in its 10th year, The Vitality Show enjoyed an attendance of 35,000 in 2008 and is Europe’s largest health, beauty and fitness and wellbeing consumer show. A Place in the Sun Live is backed by Channel 4’s eponymous prime-time TV programme with an audience of 3.5 million viewers.
Ideal Home Show Director, Robin Beaman commented, “We are delighted to make this announcement. These shows have similar audience profiles, which offer us plenty of cross ticket promotional opportunities, with obvious benefits for each event. It provides an opportunity for the Ideal Home Show to expand upwards into the gallery in Earls Court 1.”
