Houseplant novices rejoice! On Thursday 17th March celebrity gardener, David Domoney invites poorly plants to his plant hospital at the Ideal Home Show, in partnership with NatWest.
The drop-in centre will be a place of respite for worried plant parents to get expert advice on how to revive their beloved houseplants. David Domoney will be acting plant doctor, prescribing the best course of treatment for all kinds of ailments from root rot to yellowing leaves.
Giles Perry, Event Director at Media 10 said: “We’ve seen the house plant trend skyrocket since the beginning of the pandemic, however many of us are still getting to grips with the demands that come with being a plant parent. Having lots of plants in the house has been proven to provide a host of mental and physical benefits. This is why we believe it’s important to educate ourselves on how to properly care for our greenery in order to allow our plants to provide the full range of benefits they can, when they are happy and healthy.”
On the lookout for a diagnosis? Come along to our drop-in sessions at the House Plant Hospital with David Domoney between 12pm-12:30pm and 2pm-2:30pm at The Super Theatre. Simply bring along your plant or a photo.
