Andy Oakey
Initially a COVID lockdown project, The Sustainable Chef (Andy Oakey) was born out of a desire to help people to cook with more confidence whilst reducing their environmental impact. After nearly 2 years of trial and error alongside a full-time day job, The Sustainable Chef cookbook became a reality in 2021.
Since then, Andy has been sharing his recipes and knowledge with food festival crowds up and down the country, including at the BBC Good Food Show, London VegFest, and multiple Foodies Festivals.
After approaching sustainability guru, Mike Berners-Lee (author, How Bad are Bananas?), Andy has had his ideas and recipes validated, supporting his sustainability credentials. He's back on the road, spreading the word further in 2023, starting off at the Ideal Home Show.
