Sophie Robinson
Packing the punch of 25 years of experience in interior design, journalism, and television, Sophie is on a mission to inspire and help millions to have the confidence to create vibrant, individual, authentic and, of course, colourful homes. She does this through her award winning blog, podcast, TV appearances and Instagram, generously sharing everything she knows about creating joyful interiors.
Her vibrant sense of style has led to her starring as an interior designer in leading UK TV shows, including BBC’s The Great Interior Design Challenge, DIY SOS, and Interior Design Masters, and fronting Channel 5’s Dream Home Makeovers.
She recently collaborated with British brand Harlequin on a collection of fabrics and wallpapers in her signature maximalist style. The collection has been taken by high street retailer John Lewis for readymade cushions, curtains, bedlinen, and towels.
Her weekly podcast, The Great Indoors, with co-host Kate Watson-Smyth is the UK’s number 1 interiors podcast and a must listen for anyone passionate about interiors: full of laughs, hot tips, and real expert insights along with interviews with some of the leading lights in design.
Sophie hosts Colour workshops and online interior design courses, where she guides people through her design process, arming them with the confidence to embrace colour, discover their own authentic sense of style and tap into their creativity . Her motto is “Ban the beige”.
On social media, she shares the journey of her own dream renovation; her family home in East Sussex, where she lives with her builder husband Tom, her son Arthur and Lucy the dog, with Mum Claire in the annex next door.
