Laurence Llewelyn Bowen designs The Home Of Your Future
To mark the 25th anniversary of Brand LLB and LLB’s 60th Birthday, Llewelyn-Bowen Design are creating a ‘legacy’ installation for the ideal home show 2025. It’s a highly glamorous evocation of style LLB using products from all his most recent design collaborations including his first foray into kitchen design.
‘I wanted to reference the Ideal Home Show’s Home of The Future which always was a real centrepiece of the show. But I’ve given it a very personal slant that showcases my belief that Great Design is something to be enjoyed irrespective of age. I’ve been very focused recently on bringing authoritative emphatic design to the Retirement sector, a space that has for too long been fobbed off with mealy-mouthed and very beige design solutions. My Home of Your Future, whilst not necessarily being a specific scheme for a retirement context, does prove that down scaled living can be elegant fun and sexy.’ - Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen
